Munan Maths is a free times tables check for children, made for parents. This page explains what we do and do not keep.
What stays on your own device
- Your child’s first name, if you enter it. We never send it to ourselves.
- The answers, the table map and the practice progress.
- The age, the chosen tables, the language, the country and the digits choice.
- A random code for this device, for example k7mq2x.
You can delete this at any time by clearing the site data in your browser.
What we receive
- Counts per hour, without a code: which steps were taken (page viewed, check started, check finished, link shared, practice session finished), the language, the country, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer), the age and the chosen tables, and through which video or site someone came.
- If someone starts through your link: your code, that person’s code, the country, the language, the time and an irreversible fingerprint made from the internet address. The fingerprint exists only so that nobody can count themselves several times. We do not keep the internet address itself for this.
We use this to see whether the check works, in which countries and languages it is used, and to open practice when 3 parents have started through your link. We do not sell anything on and do not use it for advertising.
What we do not do
- No cookies, no advertising, no tracking by other companies.
- No accounts, passwords, names or e-mail addresses of children.
- We do not read your contacts. When you share, you choose who gets the link in your own app.
Who processes the data
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like every host, Cloudflare processes your internet address to show the page. The counts are stored on our own server in the Netherlands, at TransIP.
How long
We keep the data about friends who started for 12 months. The counts per hour are totals without a code.
Your rights
You can ask what we keep about your code, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] and mention your code. You can also complain to your supervisory authority.
